He should be playing 3rd line minutes here. I’m all for development but not scratching a top 10 pick

I took my kid to his goalie practice and the coach is talking about pros they have come in, and I am up near Boston and he was talking about the local pros that came in last year one of them was Kris Krieder come in and take shots on the goalies. He said he is a helluva nice guy and liked working with the kids. He also talked about his time in BC really great stories. also spoke about Hank.

Sounds like he played lazy AF the prior game. Only played 8 minutes and was mopey in the little ice time he had.

he needs to just accept it and the sooner he does that will be the first step towards him coming back here

Namestiknov is just keeping his spot warm right now and thankfully wont be here forever

^quotes not working but yea, it’s all about the process. He’s gotta learn to respect the AHL as a good league on its own and that he’ll need to earn his ice time and opportunities with the big club

If Kravtsov is being lazy, get it fixed now. This might be a good sign that Hartford is finally going to get their crap together

Honestly this is the shyt I don’t like to hear because it makes me think that he doesn’t want to take the time to be in Hartford and develop. I don’t know the entire story but the fact he already was a healthy scratch isn’t good to hear. He needs to accept the fact that this is his first full season playing North American Hockey. He better be busting his ass in Hartford. The kid has all the skill in the world but seems like he needs an attitude adjustment. All I can think of if they decided to sit him. We hear it all the time but the kid needs to be coachable.

But this is the instant news world we live in now. I am sure if you go back into the annals there have been plenty of players that have needed to be put in their places and we never heard about it.

But now in the twitter world this stuff is front and center. Same thing goes with K'Andre and his suspension.

It's a non story to me until it becomes a pervasive pattern.

We both agree it needs to be corrected. For this time, I’ll give Kravtsov a pass because from his perspective, it must be a bit insulting to be the best player on a team in the KHL to have to go to the minors. He does need to accept it, but I get why he has a chip on his shoulder

We all have no idea why he was scratched but it’s easier for all of us to overreact, that’s the nature of the game. It’s clearly not a positive but if the coaching felt a strong message should be sent now rather than allowing little infractions or possible issues build up, then by all means, do so now. But we need to be careful not to read too much into this decision.

Same on K’Andre Miller. Per what I posted in the posted, the scratching didn’t appear to be a big deal. But good for the coach and team to send a quick message to Miller and the team, which may be why Kravtsov was scratched. Message send to the team.
